Introduction
Almost all of the examples on Pages 1 to 7 are NOUN 1 + NOUN 2 but a small number are ADJECTIVE + NOUN or some other word + NOUN. This is because sometimes it is more suitable to include these other word combinations within the main set of NOUN 1 + NOUN 2 combinations because they all are examples of different kinds of NOUN 2. For example, a "stock market" and a "supermarket" are both examples of different kinds of markets.
