924.  An Intelligent Person  (Jan 2019)  (Probably no longer used)

Copy of Topic 534 & Topic 214

Describe an intelligent person you know.

        You should say:

                who this person is

when and where you (first) met them (him or her)

what this person does in life (e.g., work/ study)

and explain why you think this person is intelligent *

                                       or

and explain how you feel about this person. *             .

Notes

  • This is probably a repeat of Topic 534 & Topic 214

  • Almost certainly the first line includes, "you know". It is best to speak about someone who you have personally met.

  • I think the first line should be, "Describe a very (or, exceptionally) intelligent person you know" because all normal human beings are intelligent. The question really is asking you to describe someone whose intelligence impresses you.

  • The line, "what this person does in life" might be, "what this person does to show his or her intelligence".
